Lac du Saule (aka Reg’s Lake) is our premier carp lake. This ten acre willow fringed, crystal clear water has a superb stock of around 300 carp ranging from low 20lbs to mid sixties.

The depths vary enormously with many bars and plateaux, from 4ft down to 14ft in the deepest gully which provides the ideal natural environment for our fish to flourish.

It’s size allows for a total of fifteen well-spaced swims but we only allow a maximum of 8 anglers at any one time, to avoid placing excess pressure on the carp. It also makes for a very spacious and peaceful fishing environment.

The lake is surrounded by a track that allows easy vehicle access and there is plenty of room for “bivvies” without ever being overcrowded. The mature trees - including weeping willows - give good shade around the shallow areas.

 Catches of 30 carp in a week are not uncommon with most weeks producing carp to over 40lbs!.

Lac du Saule can be booked for a week exclusively by parties of up to 8 anglers but also on an individual basis for weekly bookings or shorter stays if required.
